Wherever there is a wagon rut, there was a hoofprint. Wherever there was a settlers footprint there was a hoofprint beside it. Wherever there was a homestead there was a horse. As the pioneers made their way into the west they encountered the mustang. Their spirit remains free like those that settled the land...at least for now.
